Yeah, most of the places I look (Zillow, mls, etc.) if they advertise seller financing, the place is usually a dump with bullet holes in the walls and blood stains on the carpets. :)  I think I might just give that a try!

They will also make it difficult for contractors to get any work done on the property.To minimize the risk of having one, add an extra level of screening where priory to approving, you schedule a call with them to discuss the property, lease agreement, and the way you to business.

While there was some appreciation in early 14, after that it got stagnated. and given the price levels, it mayn't appreciate anytime soon in this area.
