Not really a short sale per se, might have been accrued interest on a NPN that was dropped is paid.Forth, any lien holder, a materials or labor lien from a past project to be paid or arranged to be paid.Fifth possibility, some liens are forgiven by municipalities, partially paid, sewer liens, lawn cutting or clean ups can be negotiated and released.Last that pops to mind, they could be talking about an IRS lien or state tax lien.

(super deceiving house)3 Bed/3 Bath.New wiring, new On-demand hotwater boiler system, 9 ft ceilings throughout Now for the Afters: Front (I am still trying to decide on colors etc) Living Room (31x13) so I am using and staging it as a Liv/Din combo Dining Room (16x16) being used as a Family room since there is a breakfast room off the kitchen.

Your buyer will need to go to a mortgage originator, you won't be dictating terms so much, but you don't need to accept the required terms either.Rent to own is still a financing arrangement and you have the same issues you'd have with seller financing, any type of financing arrangement is covered by the Act, no way around it.There are tons of threads on the subject, be careful you're not reading about some system or program type info on how to, see your attorney and discuss it with a registered mortgage originator.
