Reviving this thread for a similar question that I am hoping someone can share their experience on.  

So looking for a lending partner that will help me grow as efficiently as possible.Also would love to connect with anyone doing something similar or with any development wisdom to share.  

To which I turn to the most trusted community in RE.Myself and two of my business partners are looking to start our journey in Real Estate development and am looking for some advice, we have experience in owning and managing rentals so none of that is new to us...just building the thing is.We are looking to start developing duplex homes across the Chicagoland Suburbs but cannot find the right person to talk to that can give us a clear idea of where to start.

Though I am winding down, I still love real estate, it's tangible, and I'm still learning more thanks to the BP community. 

I'm just trying to think how to create a community of individuals who will get along and are similar in some way without discrimination.

In addition one of their more attractive aspects is that most of them already have institutional debt on them which you assume your share of.
