How strong is the rental demand in this immediate neighborhood?

We're in the excelsior neighborhood and we're converting the garage to a 1 bed / 1 bath unit. 

I'm a contractor in the Cincinnati area there are quite a few neighborhoods that have huge potential.

Don't buy in the roughest neighborhood in the urban core.

It was a borderline tear down, in a really nice neighborhood.

@Brian KosackSome good sites to look into are neighborhood scout and city data Also you want to consider the tenant class you are looking into- Have you analyzed deals in the areas you are looking into?

I'm just not organized enough to keep all the cards and spending in order.Opening and closing new credit cards all the time can't be good for your credit score either...

Know one knows what will happen with the properties surround the old hospital, but I would bet that any neighborhoods around the new hospital's location will benefit.   

I have a rental property that's approximately 20-25 minutes south of Raleigh, NC, and the pricing for comparable homes recently sold in the neighborhood have incentivized me to look to put mine in the market.

It's supposed to end up being similar to U Village. a new high rise hotel is going in, in the same neighborhood, 25+ stories I believe (Hilton?
