Rehab loans? 

CapEx refers to significant investments made to maintain, improve, or upgrade a property over its lifespan.

We are calculating the rebrand will be complete in 8-10 months and expect it to be the new standard in that area triggering more behind it, and go a long way to improving another sector in the community.

I’m wondering if it’s not a better idea simply to buy in my own name, have an Umbrella Insurance in case of lawsuit, then get a DSCR loan. 

And before I get roasted here for bursting bubbles: apply for a large DSCR loan and tell them you have no experience as an operator...

While I'm actively exploring various avenues to improve our financial situation, I keep running into dead ends.

DSCR loans are typically for income-producing properties, whereas HELOC's are used for personal expenses or home improvements.

If so, were the criteria for getting that loan pretty much the same as getting a loan using a 25% down payment?

We own a 7 unit apartment building at the beach and would like to replace our present bank loan with private funding of some type. 

How much cash are you bringing to the table and what will the loan amount be.
