This will only be the first of more drama and excuses..... next will be excuses for not paying the rent etc etc...

While they've been a good tenant, there is no excuse for holding you hostage.

Despite entering into a contract to buy properties, he made up a series of ridiculous excuses, changed his financing source at the last minute without disclosure, refused to communicate at all simply ghosting the transaction.

If you are not finding success do not look for an excuse look for the right opportunity and keep looking till you find it.

They would likely make an excuse as to why they can't show you as opposed to flat-out refusing, as technically they can't refuse if they represent you;- The agent may contact the seller and ask if they'll pay a commission;- Your agency agreement with the broker may specify that if the seller isn't willing to pay commission for any reason (FSBO or otherwise), it is the responsibility of the BUYER to pay the agent's commission.
