Meanwhile ask your electricity provider how it is acceptable for you to go without power for 6-7 weeks and why a temporary solution was not offered. 

I would look into that because customer service is very important in STRs.

If you acutally have a business and are trying to sell something, the services section is $5/post and all you get are cheap customers, who you wouldn't want as customers anyways. also haven't had any luck on resume or job section when trying to hire.

So I see the banks doing something similar in the US.Perhaps some US banks are already starting to do something on a case-by-case basis because I’ve been getting messages from my mortgage companies similar to what the European banks are sending out (”We would encourage any customer experiencing financial difficulty to get in touch with us”).
