My thought is it would be worth it if you plan on pursuing a career in real estate rather than a passive/part time investment.

I was very interested many years ago but another career came into play.

Soak up everything at your job because the problems they are solving are complicated and too hard for most people so if you are able to do that you will have a great real estate career!
