You can take the classes online while where you are so that when you get here you are ready to test and hit the ground running.

There are some online money market accounts that pay at or a little better than 1% if you wish to keep risk lower and maintain high liquidity.

Sometimes I think agents go online and look at what other agents are "listing" for, then price theirs similarly, not based on sales.
