Function stacking is a term I'm borrowing from the permaculture world where it means one thing can serve multiple purposes.This way while we are visiting the area, learning which neighborhoods we like, don't like, doing research, etc. we are also spending time in a place we genuinely want to spend time in anyway.

Our clients have notes presented to them They spend zero money or effort in note acquisition.

Look at it like networking gardening, you're planting seeds that will grow over the years if you put in regular effort.

As an former IT guy I'm sure you can relate that most of our effort goes towards invisible objectives. 

Alex part of the reason is the lenders don't want to go to the effort of getting state licensed for such small markets. they will do it for larger markets like Oregon CA etc.. just look at Lendinghome.coms market and their licensure..  

I'm hoping that's going to help with redevelopment efforts and push prices up a little.

We have photos and we have identified the address where the tree fell from, but so far the efforts made (i.e. knocking on the door, leaving a note, etc) to contact the owner have not been successful.  

Personally I could not imagine $35-$40k is worth mentorship because there are no guarantees, and no one can give suucess guarantee, and there are tons of online resources cheaper like this one.As someone said, it comes down to your efforts.

I'm planning on writing a post on this after our claim is finished so that everyone on the forum can learn from our hardship, less effort and time wasted if it brings any lesson to anyone.
