usually you can trace a zig-zag line on something that shifted (or see split bricks). not having gutters around a house also doesn't help when all that water collects at the footers. your inspector could've just been covering his *** by making that suggestion, as most of those guys are not structural engineers. getting an engineer's report will set you back $500, but you will have a piece of mind and a bit of negotiation leverage in this deal (especially during these covid times).did other big ticket items check out?

reason we have left both properties we bought both to be our home the 92108 condo our neighbor began firing rounds in homes during covid so we decided to leave we then purchased our 92120 home but now have to relovate to take care of a family memebr with a health issue.
