@Karolina Powell - When touring multifamily properties I would suggest you be conscious of the following: - As Alecia indicated... make sure you understand how utilities are set up (individually metered, etc..)- View the general condition of each unit.

Make sure the policy covers business pursuits and understand that it doesn’t increase your loss protection, only covered liability ( suits).

While I think my broker may be misinterpreting the business model, I still understand what you are saying about rules and laws changing over night.

Just like fitness (my day job) while all the information is available and out there, the key is having people take action and do the required work.

You don't need to know everything to get started; you need a foundation to build on and the rest will come through experience and then refining your education.You can build a basic understanding of investing in 3-6 months.
