The only problem being stationed there is because of my status I can't buy and own property as military personnel.

My wife and I do just a couple of deals a year, so we wouldn't have a pulse on day to day affects.Dallas is currently seeing gas shortages, many gas stations are out of fuel and there are lines at the rest.I talked to my mortgage broker today and she told me that the lenders have put holds on all of the closings and are requiring appraisers reappraise all of the properties before they can close.We have a ton of shelters here in Dallas that have been opened up. 

I've been stationed here for 10 years and REI'ng the last five.

FYI: I'm currently helping multiple active duty service men and women stationed in and around San Diego identify properties they can househack, and/or save some of their bah, while they create equity.

I have been visiting Hayward for a few weeks now and am particularly interested in 94542 (around the university and up in the hills) and parts of 94541, closer to the BART station.

If am a representing an investor, I can say, "I think this home would be hard to resell/rent because of the (the power station out back/the slope of the yard/the road in the back/upcoming construction in the area/ the new complex down the street, etc.) 

Typically Toro pop-ups, Orbit timer, basic anti-siphon valves.  

A little about myself: I am originally from New Jersey, I joined the military and was eventually stationed in San Diego.

Ideally, I'd love to find something in the northern neighborhoods close to an 'L' station. 3-4 bedrooms, specifically.
