these guys aren't inexperienced, by their own account they have flipped 30+ properties in KS they have property in Toledo and are looking to invest in other areas of the country.  

Check housing court if you can to see if tenants have ever been evicted anywhere else.

All of the Central/Eastern European countries have tremendous potential now.  

The owners live in different states and even countries.

Many foreigners, mostly S American, looking to safely park their money in the US, and more concerned about not losing value (or just getting their money out of their country while they can), as opposed to income.

You know, if you can get past the fact that you are buying properties in a country operated by a dictatorship.

Real Estate in Chile works very different to other countries, so you have to be a little careful.

You need to make sure that everyone that has an interest through ownership or lien was notified of the court case.
