My suggestion to most investors is that if you can afford to buy right now and the property will carry itself , then it is a good idea to do so.

The tech companies here are laying people off or not hiring (the six figure earners who can afford the $3000 1 bedroom apartment to $6000 rental house payments) so that doesn't sound good to me financially.
