There are a couple of large employers  American Family Insurance in the area that bring in a lot of people on work visas for high paying jobs.

@Donna Arrogante The pros and cons of self employment, more cash in bursts but can't prove real or steady monthly income.

If your employer is allowing you to save retirement money, a self-directed IRA could help you if it is from a past supplier.I am 59 years old and I found BP about a year ago and I am  deciding what to do.  

Most companies don't give employment recommendations anymore.
