Am sure cities like LA or SFO fit the bill too; but personally, like most, I find it too expensive to live and/or invest; and so am not considering moving to CA or anywhere Northeast.Please do suggest any cities you may have in mind.

@John Arendsen  no mystery to CF on the debt side they are just HML  and if you equate it to CA lending rules were your allowed to fractionlize DT's they are basically doing the same thing pooling investors into a debt instrument. . they get rewarded with the points and servicing fee's.

This is an area-specific question, however, in my experience in California, 2-4 bedrooms are rented like hot cakes, while one bedroom and 5+ bedrooms are slower to rent.
