well than its almost as if the contract is contradicting itself... null void but the purchase Contract reverts back to assignor as buyer ...hmmmmm does that change anything because as far as i am aware the only time i can be locked into the deal is after the 21st business day at which point i must have written an approval letter... as long as i walk away before the 21st day and within inspection period i am fine.

Could be that they're not aware of the idea, don't know the cost benefit or they do know the cost benefit and don't think it's worth it.

I grew up in a family of developers and contractors so have been very aware of values since the early 60's. 

Are you aware of anyone or have you been sued over responding to a reference call or anything along those lines? 

The only thing you have to be aware of would be pre-payment penalties but those tend to disappear after a year or two.
