As for your note on the capital gains tax, if the Bronx home was your primary home for 2+ years, you should be exempt up to $250k in capital gains tax (verify with your tax specialist). 

As others have alluded to above, the answer to this is highly dependent upon so many factors including your overall investing objective or goal.

The fact that you live in a state without a state income tax opens your options of an accountant to work with.No need to find an accountant that is a specialist of familiar with your state tax laws since there is no state income tax in Florida.

Hi @Mario Gonzalez--tough to comment without knowing the specifics of what you are looking for and your investment objectives/finances, but with $180k in funds to deploy, you should be able to find an investment that would net you a 3% Cash-on-Cash return in New Jersey despite the hot market and high property taxes.
