Manny Moreno It's going to be very difficult to pass the self-sufficiency rule in SD so make sure your lender has that part down.

I self manage two newer properties right now that don't give me to many problems currently.

Just make sure you watch out for the FHA SS rule (self sufficiency) however if you're buying in MI you should not have a problem with it.
