I think you nailed it when you said most buy one or two homes and then stop.

I think you hit the nail on the head about the affect of inflation on real estate debt and that is contributing to the real estate rush.  

Make sure you "Nail notices to the door, and mail it also"  Use the mail delivery receipt for proof of notices.
