Bank of America has tiered rewards (cash back) on cc putchases if your keeping your savings in their accounts so you get more back if you're saving to down payment an investment on the things you already buy.

The risk vs reward is not there for me at this point. 

But, if it upsets you, you could reward the behavior that you want. 

I will be honest with you, wholesaling is a day-to-day grind that's very rewarding in the end.

Since we don’t “chase” deals just to “do a deal”, (we don’t NEED the resultant “transactional” income to keep our operation running), we are much more selective; if a piece of the puzzle doesn’t fit our risk/reward criteria we “fix it”, or if need be pass on the deal. 

I have found that the most tenacious investors who are able to make contact with the owners are rewarded with the best deals. 

Not a ton of work for a good reward.

In society, we are taught to be perfectionist and are rewarded as such throughout our schools by letter grades.
