I've been listening to tons of podcasts and reading up on books about RE but have just now decided to finally post here on the BP forums.With that being said, I was wondering if anyone could share a bit of insight/personal experience about the potential of investing in rental properties over in PR.You see, since discovering BP 2 months ago I have never been so excited about something in my life.

Currently studying my States Building Codes in preparation for the Contractor exam. 

I have been studying, window shopping for deals, doing "mock financials", and networking at events for approximately 7 months now.

I am a 19 year old college student currently studying business administration at the University of North Georgia looking to get as active as I can in real estate investing considering the fact that I an a newbie in the REI world.

I just feel as though because of my personality type that this would make the best sense for me, though that's not to say that I won't discover other niches in REI later on.I'm so glad I joined this amazing community and hope to make some great connections!

@Karen Wang I'm glad that you discovered what opportunity cost is, but that wasn't my point.

Don't know if Scott Horne is a good teacher but if you spend a few more months studying the subject you'll be able to ask enough intelligent questions that you'll find out for yourself.

Just started studying for my Washington RE License  and leases came up.  

I have done lots of studying however have a few questions been looking up pre-foreclosure on the market for over 90days or more through Zillow that's in default.

Second, I'm pretty new to the site and to real estate investing, but have been studying how to look at some of these numbers for awhile now.
