As you dig a little deeper into the actual release by the provincial government the regulation only applies to licensed agents and appears to be "self-policing" by the industry itself ... so it may amount to a little more discretion, but not elimination of the behaviour.

I have asked many people questions and watched numerous youtube videos, i even almost paid into a self proclaimed "premier realbestate education" classes.

My best advice at this point is to educate and read as much as possible, to familiarize your self with all the steps to getting rental properties and to house them.

But I am literally just getting started with my first deal after years of researching, reading, self-educating and talking to people so take it for what it's worth (paralysis analysis is very real, ha).
