I would say to make sure all the systems are updated and that foundation looks good.

I feel I have a good foundation now in which I can talk to a real estate attorney.

And in most towns here, are peppered house-trailers on city lots, interspersed between frame-construction houses built on concrete foundations.

The inspection revealed what i thought were MAJOR foundation issues (sagging plates/inadequate support, fungus, dry rot).

But since I haven't seen the inside yet, I need to see if the foundation is stable and if we can preserve the structure.

Sometimes, you can find them on Zillow with just a foundation in and maybe even a permit that’s still good.
