You would either need to take out the gate (my guess is that is probably not difficult) or cut down trees to make a path out.

If you mean it doesn't have newer homes, but has good schools, lawns are cut, houses are taken care of and it is safe; I'd have no problems buying there.

I have not seen many folks actually pull off a BRRRR with straight conventional financing, but maybe its possible...the renovation style loans work...or cash is always your best play.
