Hi BP,I have a property listed for rent in Woodland, CA and received a call from an ale Solutions agent who claims to be relocating a family that lost their home to a fire.

I know this thread is old but figured I'd mention we recently started an awesome monthly meetup in Woodland Hills.

@Tyler Work I’m in Woodland Park, CO; a little Mountain town about 30 minutes NW of Colorado Springs.

North Linden, South of Main, Vassor Village, Woodland Park, MT Vernon, Milo-Grogan, Franklinton, Merrion Village, Hungarian Village, Southern Orchards, Driving Park, Olde Towne East, Franklin Park, King Lincoln, Old Oaks, Livingston Park are all but not limited to some areas in Columbus, Ohio I think will gentrify quickly and make for great long term buy and holds.

(3) We have looked a fair amount in The Woodlands, Spring, Magnolia, but The Woodlands might not allow the property to be used as a ST rental (so that seems risk) and I don't see a lot of other STRs in Spring or Magnolia, so maybe those just aren't popular vacation spots?

I live in a spring, tx next to the The Woodlands, tx. 

Houston (Spring, Tomball, Woodlands).

This group meets in the Dolphin Plaza on Rt 315 in Wilkes Barre (between the casino and the Woodlands).

Mountains, lakes, woodlands and the Tennessee River accommodate numerous recreational activities.

That's specifically within Houston–The Woodlands–Sugar Land metropolitan area and Harris County.
