The area is vintage late 1970's early 1980's.

A vintage 800 sq foot 2 bedroom vs a new rehabbed 1500 sq foot 2 bedroom are going to get very different rents and zilow can't tell the difference

@Chris Fi I am very used to buildings built in the 50's and 60's as I own a lot of that vintage here locally in Berwyn and Cicero, IL.

Growth here didn't go gangbusters, so there is still a short window of opportunity left to pick up the final vintages from the foreclosure crisis. some neighborhoods have already heated up, but to give you an example,i just passed on a deal in an A hood with a golf course that was going to cash flow.

I've got two of them (purchased through ebay) vintage ones; probably made in the 40's or early 50's. 

We renovated 8 1980 vintage units and brought all rents to market ($875-900). 

I bought this vintage world map wallpaper mural for $ 85 on Amazon.

Lately, I've developed a hankering for a 1927-vintage Model T Ford.

This can happen in the owner inflated rents and gives concessions on multifamily property or an area has changed and rents are trending downward due to short sales or foreclosures etc.I also see this on retail commercial where a stated cash flow is 18 per sq ft average but the lease are vintage from 5 years ago and now market is 14 sq ft.
