Sure without money you can donate time, but I will argue that a large monetary endowment does way more than filling soup bowls an hour a week.

We serve our clients they tell us what they want and we provide that.. we do make them get preapproved and one thing is certain .. when a lender says your approved up to ( in our area starter homes are 450k or so)  up to 500k that's what they shop for.But this last year in our latest community we are building  we had two deals that did not go together over a price difference of about 15k..

Why don't the council members build more homeless shelters, soup kitchens and provide a nice weekly allowance along with the food-stamps and other taxpayer-funded benefits? 

I Managed the 15m assisted living and Memory care on Airport road in Savoy,one building bout 46k sq ft the other 26k sq ft, this includes underground, could have had in completed in a year but the people I was working for liked to stick there finger in the soup.

perhaps you like charity work. buy a big pot and create a soup kitchen.if tenants unexpectedly decide to pay rent, save that for more giant pots.
