I closed on my first STR in June, and after a very successful summer, I am facing a new challenge: now that school is back in session, how to best market my spacious, family-friendly 2/2 + loft house to the couples-oriented fall crowd?

I aim for nice spacious units that will appeal more to young professionals (historic details, amenities like garage parking and free laundry) who will pay for a nicer place but will likely have a higher turnover rate than other properties I've also considered.

Clark-Fulton has some very spacious duplexes that perform well very close to Metro but overall can be difficult.

Spacious Kitchen.

If the weather doesn't allow for meeting outside, the inside eating area is also very spacious. 

Recessed lights, hardwood flooring, white walls ( to look more spacious), landscape the backyard, maybe some fake marble look alike countertops because the ones they have at the moment are ugly.

There are spacious 2 more bedrooms and full bath down the hall.

So you might go with Southwestern desert décor for a spacious ranch property, or perhaps you have a modern luxury home that's better suited to a clean, futuristic look.
