It's actually a bad idea some aspects of it should be reworked so the secondary market doesn't get pummeled, prominent deals would get undone if the law refuses to know it place.

We just did it because we didn't have much else to do.It took a long time to make RE work.  

We were in the process of reworking it and evidently some older pages were left up.

At 9k it sounds like it is long term and reworking it to managed 1/2 long term tenants and 1/2 short term may be a great value add to the business.

In order to mitigate most of the issues of working with contractors you need to have a very explicit scope of work, and a solid contract that specifies that payments are made according to certain milestones, and penalties for delays or rework.

So I'll need to rework that part of my process.

When you try to sell or flip this house it is very possible you just have to re-work everything you did Plus a big fine

And sure, Mortgage holders can do short sales, deeds in lieu, rework a mortgage, etc... but what will that do to my 810 credit score? 

it took a lot of reworking of closets and stairs, but we needed to rework the stairs anyway to gain access to the finished attic)This was our first house/very passive investment property so the finishes are a little much for the area in Oak Park it's in.
