Their requirements are a little bit more relaxed than banks, and they don't require things like pay stubs, DTI, etc.

All timelines ending on weekends/holidays would be pushed to the next business day...  

I was going to get a roommate but we have family come down during the holidays.

I understand that depending on the situation the VA loan may/may not be ideal, but I think borrowing against the TSP the payback rules are relaxed when it's for a primary residence (between 5 and 15 years for payback).

The next one is July 11th due to the holiday.

For me, having seen the short term regulations with Vancouver and Toronto, I had a hunch that out-of-country capital would move east, but at a more relaxed pace.

The cost of waiting for the next tenant to sign up will be higher towards the end of the year when the holidays arrive and not many are out looking for new places...
