If you're out of state you're hiring a property preservation company, and also dealing with your insurance company.

Hello everyoneI am new business owner of T Jordan Asset & Property Management, LLC out of Suffolk, Virginia.I am doing property preservation or trash-out as it called.I would like to know of any Property Preservation owners in the Tidewater Area that I can learn more about the business. 

I do not want to sell the unit.How can I preserve the tax free treatment of capital gains during those five years?

You are right about appreciation but we plan on going 50/50 on a lot more properties so I'm trying to preserve time for those.

This is why the census uses metropolitan statistical areas start off at 100K.At 200K these markets have already made the transition and are dealing with urban problems rather than zoning and mindset problems of preserving a small town feel while transitioning into urban density.So "emerging" will look very different in each of these city sizes.

@Wayne Brooks  well pretty common out here and it was the bigger lenders.. at least they tried to preserve that right..
