I have had property issues but they were never negative experiences with OCF, in fact, they proved to me that I'm with the right company.2018 was a busy year. 2 tenants moved out within a month of each other (one evicted actually), refurbish needed to be done, I delayed on the payment for that and the copper piping was stolen from one of the properties.

We have had everything from seasonal workers, to relocating families, local area displacements (floods, pipe damages, etc.), visiting families and all that.

Painted whole home, new flooring, painted cabinets and new counter tops, finished basement.

My property was broken into and there are signs of drug use, copper pipes were stolen, appliance control boards stolen, damages caused, camera system was stolen too, and much more.How does insurance look at this?

Are the fees just the 6% RE commission or are there other fees I could consider when making a counter offer.

1. pass legislation limiting what the "free market" demands2. suffer the consequences of the elimination of the "supply" demanded by consumers in the free market3. suffer the consequences of the "law of unintended consequences"4. blame "capitalism" for failure to provide what was eliminated by previous regulatory action5. pass more legislation to counter balance effects of previous legislation 

What we know is that the offer was *countered* within 10 minutes of receipt indicating that no rent payment history would be provided.Not a "scam", but definitely a big red flag.

Im up for advice, tips, or reasons to let this pipe dream die before i take it any further. thanks!

There are also winter issues (e.g frozen pipes possibly bursting and having to crank up the heat to prevent that) that we don't deal with in CA.

Years ago, a plumber told us that whoever plumbed the subdivision had issues with the pipes as they curved around the corners, so we're not the only ones with issues.
