You do have to be able to afford in the short term, through the market ups and downs, though ... but those who have made it to the long term with those properties have been handsomely rewarded.

drop the property manager or find a cheaper one if your going to hold it.Seeing as its a mortgage taken at the height of the fraud by most lenders you should know that they have sold your home several times and been paid handsomely for it.

If I was doing my first rehab (which of course would come with cost overruns, mishaps etc) while the market/economy was tanking....haha ya that wouldn't be good.On the other hand, some people do deals in good markets and bad.
