Tennessee imposes a Franchise and Excise Tax.

Hi @Debbie Cost, The California Franchise Tax Board issued Notice 2019-05 stating installment sale "arrangements" designed to defer taxes when a 1031 Exchange fails will not defer taxes.

I'm sure there are plenty of growing and emerging markets elsewhere but these are the areas that i'm invested in and areas that i'm very familiar with as I prefer to invest in what I know.Another option, is to take that $150,000 and invest in a business franchise of some sort.

Many listings come from direct data feeds sent by -- real estate brokerages and real estate franchises.

It appears to be a franchise and there's one in my local market.

The franchise cleaning co's are closer to $50/hr.  

But, yes, and it is somthing I advocate for newbies who are low on money, as I did earlier today in another thread about financing a franchise..... :)

Last year I decided to finally make the plunge after being paralyzed by analysis for far too long...BUT those efforts were sidelined when I decided to sign a contract to open 12 units of a restaurant franchise concept in NC and SC (and yes I still have my corporate job...for now)!
