LOL   I could not believe the Rylee Ann (Vince and Lorre's daughter) deal at $199k per unit.

Overall she's been fine - she's older and doesn't speak English so well - there's only been a few minor issues here and there, but luckily I've been in contact with her daughter who often helps problem-solve when the housing authority won't.

It is two blocks from my daughters college and I will be converting to furnished student housing and more than tripling the cash flow in early 2020.

My goal is to gain enough cash flow in real estate to retire in 4-5 years and have enough money to provide for my daughter and my girlfriend, who I want to marry down the line.

They are a retired couple and pay cash on time and lived there for 10 years.Their adult daughter reached out looking to rent the renovated side.

We decided not to go with him because, not only did we not have the best interaction with him when he lived in the house, we felt he wouldn't operate with our best interest in mind considering that his daughter lives in the house.

Quick update: we made an offer on Fairfield property & the offer is basically dead (at the moment), seller is refusing to drop below $360k ($5k below current ask), so I'll circle back in a few weeks to see if they've decided to finally get with the program and sell (vs getting foreclosed).Came across another very compelling unit, but there are already 6 offers (of which at least 1 is full ask), so not likely to be able to get that one.Working on getting our home on the market (we're delaying till 3rd week in May when our daughter finds out if she will be doing clinical rotations in Philly area hospitals - she's finishing up 2nd year medical school). 

One of my goals in this journey is to give my awesome wife and wonderful 8 month old daughter a better life. 

We've had a number of situations like yours where we rented it to a family, and then the accessory was occupied by a married adult son/daughter and their spouse.
