AshleyNormal, however you have wide latitude in the actual agreement you agree to sign, how long, how much commission, that’s not to see individual agents have to agree to your terms, but if you feel uncomfortable with the terms you are free to negotiate or shop around, however an agent cannot legally show you a house without an signed agreement of some sort. 

A house has come up for sale next door to one of their existing houses, and due to the convenience that would provide from an operational standpoint, they want to open up shop there.

DownTown Pueblo has a lot of beauty and potential, but there are a lot of vacancies when it comes to commercial buildings, there is not much variety for restaurants, coffee shops, shopping districts, etc.I don't see AirBNB being the best right now, but who knows.

I don't have a problem with reasonable protections for tenants from slumlords but those should always be arbitrated by either a court, or maybe an extrajudicial body to free up the courts and hear issues. 

One-year leases are very common in smaller spaces, as you're most often working with tenants in the trade industry that need a garage styled space for tools and equipment, some with a small 1-person styled office adjacent the shop.

A lot of CA folks seem to want to shop only on Zillow, see 0, buy something, meet no one that is going to be supporting them, and then immediately lose money and get discouraged.

This doesnt seem correct for him not to be able to buy it but some shops do only allow technicians to buy the parts from them so that is true.
