@Jenifer Levini You're assertion that the bank is screwed because some other entity has control of the property is not correct.

In the past, I have made several monumentally stupid assertions about landlording here.

If they assert, they will give you back your purchase price.

For example, $200 per month is significant for a 150 unit apartment but $200 a month for a SFR or duplex won’t increase the assert value since its based on comparable sales.
