I don't know if the property was originally built as a 2 bedroom and somewhere along the lines another bedroom was added but not recorded for whatever reason.I had to file revised plans for my own property when I found it was not in accordance with county records and the changes would have to be approved.

Does this mean that a landlord can theoretically evict all tenants of a multifamily property if he has plans/permits approved to "substantially remodel" the building?

They do help with reviewing our reports from our property management companies to identify spikes in utility usage on vacant properties, reviewing expenses to make sure they were approved, vacancies, etc.

Over-inflating the purchase price to account for closing costs could be seen as fraud or could trigger issues with the loan approval, especially if the appraised value doesn’t match the inflated price.
