In more simpler terms, guests from STR don't care about saving electricity or water because they're not paying for it.... same goes for hotel guests, right?

As an analogy, Extended Stay America and Residence Inn by Marriott are in the extended stay hotel space, but their price points--and cost to furnish--vary widely.Like @Yiwei Cheng suggests, we choose our target customer and furnish, price, market and host accordingly.Best wishes.

I guess a potential trend for the STR space with hotels coming down on STRs in major cities (i.e Dallas) could be hotels coming down on STRs in ski towns.

If you have an avg stay of less than 7 days (or less than 30 days and offer specific services to your guests) and you are a "material participant" based on hours worked, then they treat you more like a hotel, which is active.

Right now it's meeting one Wednesday a month at a hotel in South Portland.It looks like some of you guys are a little farther North, but if you can get down here I do recommend it :)
