Albeit, materials were made better then.

The steps that follow must be done correctly in order to realize your gain, but its very difficult to buy poorly and then turn the deal profitable through the steps that follow.

But more importantly, there’s money to be made potentially. 

If you go to the clerk's office you can read the actual foreclosure file and at least see when the last payment was made from the initial complaint.....then you can guess at accumulated interest, late fees, any taxes or force placed insurance, attorney fees, court costs, etc.

They ended up embezzling $10s of thousands of dollars from me and in order to get rid of the partnership instead of keeping one property and giving the partner one property I made a crappy decision and took a small payout for both properties.
