Hi All,  I truly hate to be that guy looking for answers and not offering up much in return but this is a situation where I have to move quick and feel a bit ill prepared as this would be my first deal, so I could use some objective feedback:My immediate neighbors are moving and selling their single family home.

However, I did not ever see how people could hop onto sales marketing and be a sleazy salesman drawing others into a something trying to use lingo that just sounds unusual and doing things to build a "data base," stuff like that pretty sure if you're just real with someone you'll go a lot farther than trying to use persuasion techniques on someone that knows about your persuasion techniques,.... huh makes me sick, Don't get me started on amway people, those are the worst and most pushy people I've ever met, and so far, I'm noticing more and more of those personality types in real estate, they aren't there to help you they are there to fuel your hopes, and there to ramble on for hours to push their objective into you, huge turnoff!

My quesion is: If anyone can recommend on an inspector that can run inspections on all 3 houses including - Pest test- Well test- Septic system test - Lake test (the land has 3 lakes)By the way, the inspector can be from other places in NC not just Polk County (we want an objective professional who is not affiliated with brokers/owners etc..)That would be more than helpful.

My logic is that by owning a unit completely takes the risk out of having to have tenants 100% of the time (things do happen), although that is the primary objective.
