Although I would prefer section 8 tenants it just sucks the amount of time it takes to get the inspection scheduled/completed, then pray that your apartment passes or they will have to come back and reinspect, and finally have the apartment approved.

Also those websites are decent for gathering home values as well; just know that they won't be accurate on each individual home, but overall they'll give you some good information.

If I do the single family option, I don't know whether to go with a turn-key property that I can just hold and rent or if I should find something cheap that needs a lot of work and then rent/sell it.If I do the multi-family, I would prefer something that doesn't need a lot of repair work.Just looking for the best advice to get the first one under my belt!!
