I personally hope to meet like-minded people from BiggerPockets, to be able to exchange ideas about real estate investments in general and to build up a network.I am currently trying to find the most suitable investment strategy for me and the European market.

Fortunately, our seller is a pretty good guy, so he's very amenable to meeting us halfway.

Does anyone know of a scheduled meet up or would anyone like to go have coffee this week?

Risk might not be worth loosing $3k.I’m in New Jersey and don’t have any reliable probate Investor’s as I’m still networking and meeting rei’s.

Thanks to BP I have already setup to meet with a local REI headed by a fellow Alaskan (i live in Idaho now) and I have 3 buyers that have already put in a wish list ;-)   Any help would be greatI am currently looking into using the Wholsale and Subject 2 exit strategies but, the subject 2 is still something I am learning. 

Take your time and find investors that are honest, not the guys that tell you they'll cut you a sweet deal the first time they meet you.Don't have an investor group?

Go to the local REIA meetings so you can fast track your knowledge of the area.  

And, of course the loan amount must meet minimum requirements for that particular HML.

The 1% rule is a guide and works great; I use it as a minimum; if a property does not meet I don't go any further.

I also would not buy in a junkie area to meet some rule.
