If they move it back in without cleaning it, you will file for eviction immediately and also seek damages against them for removing any new smoke smell in the unit.

They attract predators, they SMELL (even when bedding is properly changed out) and they crap EVERYWHERE!

The ones with a crate for the dogs have been well mannered and left it smelling better than when they came.

Again, you have no body else to pursue because you bought via quit claim.

The smell was very strong and the "white" walls were tan, lighter tan where pictures used to be.  

A landlord may reject any applicant they choose for "personal reasons", attitude, appearance, smell....what ever they deem unacceptable.

I don't want to answer questions at 11:30 p.m. on a Friday, or deal with upset neighbors or regulatory bodies or cleaners or handymen or keypads gone awry, etc, etc.I had a property manager tell me that I have a few big faucets, and he has a bunch of tiny faucets.
