So far I've done 9 deals total through crowdfunding. 3 have been individual assets and 6 have been funds (a mix of commercial, retail, multifamily, and single family). 

Hell who is to say an individual will live long enough to enjoy retirement.

Maybe you should present this to a couple local mortgage brokers, they will have a larger contact list then you and they will only have to run your credit once vs going to each individual bank.  

Please keep in mind there is a big difference between a portfolio loan and an individual 30 yr fixed.

The main differences being that hard money comes from an institution as opposed to a private individual.
