This is important because most of us can’t start out full time in the field and so we need people around us to help us avoid rookie mistakes.

When you're new, I've felt that one of the greatest assets I can have is by demonstrating competence in what I know so far, but also to be humble in admitting I don't know everything, I'm getting stronger because of my mistakes, and I'm open to any and all insight to help make the most effective and efficient decisions possible.

IF you make a mistake, it is much more difficult and costly to get out of that mistake.

At what point do any of you let the tenants fix their own mistakes or call in a pro?

It said "unapproved" in the ad, not illegal--my mistake.

If the inspector finds something wrong, they have to fix it and they don't get paid to fix their mistakes.

I guess it all comes down to fear of making mistakes. 

I have made many mistakes in my life and if I or others on the site can help you avoid our mistakes our time will be well spent.

Just remember that mistakes are normal and you have to keep on going forward.
