i do exactly what rob said. all my houses were from the 50's and they all have just 2 wires. you could put a GFCI in each box and spend a few hundred dollars and would look silly. you dont have to have the GCI grounded in order to be to code and would still trip correctly.or you can just put 2 prong outlets (hate the cost).nothing else is correct. not a false box, not wiring the neutral to ground, not installing a metal box and wiring the ground to the metal box. nothing. except running a ground wire all the way back to the box.

But, 6" or 14" it's still $175 to clear the multis, so I guess we got our money's worth this morning. Our "new" snow removal service called when they were finished to report all properties had been cleared (I had asked them to clear the student houses, in preparation for their return this weekend) and that they had hooked a brand-new window well we installed in August at one of the house (which would only be a $100-$150 and an afternoon of digging next spring if it weren't for the fact we paved the drive this autumn).

While it is written for legal eagles, I suggest you read it carefully as to federal case laws cited and the issues faced in lending.I have seen several suggesting the use of pre-arranged quit-claim deeds as a deed in lieu of foreclosure in providing a loan, it's a bad idea. While it is addressing conventional lenders, such as banks, it applies to all privately financed transactions, including installment contracts such as land contracts or contract for deeds.
