I think that at the very least, my argument here shows that it is a debatable topic and that a reasonable person could conclude that there are indeed strong advantages to operating real estate assets under your own name.

Typically these are too small for a full onsite management presence so i see a lot of owners using resident property managers and providing a free unit in exchange for acting as property manager.
